WABE Delegates

The main education forum that WABE provides is our yearly convention!  The WABE convention rotates through the cities of Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.  Traditionally, the convention is held in the fall each year.  Please consult the ‘Convention  Page’ for specific dates and to view the schedule for the coming year. 

The convention offers many opportunities to learn!  The backbone of the convention is our trade show, where vendors, manufacturers and suppliers show their newest and most impressive equipment.  This offers our delegates to get hands-on experience with all the newest technical gear!  WABE Paper sessions are also an excellent way to learn about upcoming technologies, workflows, methodologies and techniques.  Papers cover a wide range of topics aimed at providing valuable information to television, radio, cable, telco, head-end, and production technicians.   Of course, the most fun way to learn is by networking!  Our social activities, meals and events offer best venues for meeting old friends and making new acquaintances. 

You simply can’t get a better deal than WABE.  Hotel rates and registration fees are kept as low as possible to ensure you get the most bank for your buck!  Here is some information as to various registration options:

Full Registration
-   Access to the trade show floor.
-   Access to all WABE paper sessions.
-   All scheduled meals are included.
-   Admission to Slo-Down Hoe Down.
-   Admission to the vendor sponsored Attitude Adjustment is included.

Day Pass
-   Access to all WABE paper sessions.

Meals a la Carte
-   All WABE meals can be purchased A La Carte
(great for bringing a guest or two)!
